3M is seeking a Clinical Outcomes Specialist for the Critical and Chronic Care Division (C3SD) in Boston, MA. Ready to be part of what's next?

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Clinical Outcomes Specialist will direct the Clinical Outcomes Process in an assigned territory to ensure high, positive outcomes for al facilities implementing 3M Vascular Products. The Clinical Outcomes Specialist will also aid in organic growth of existing high profile accounts and follow up with high level champions and contacts on a regular basis (biweekly to quarterly depending on stage in the process). The Clinical Outcomes Specialist will lead and direct Planning Meetings, engage in hospital administration and identify an ideal maintenance program.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Schedule, lead and direct all large scale implementations and trials in facilities with licensed beds of 350 or greater

* Establish and plan an effective Planning Meeting that will engage high level nursing leadership to ensure long term success an sustainability

* Follow up with key contacts and champions in high level accounts on a regular basis

* Oversee and direct the assignment of Per Diem educators for all implementations (in assistance with Sales Rep or Clinical Outcomes Manager)

* Assist in the education and development of new hires in the Clinical Outcomes Process

* Act as consultant and liaison on behalf of sales force to ensure positive outcomes for both the facility and the territory

* Maintain consistent visibility of the Clinical Outcomes Process through active participation in professional organizations and promotion of CEU Program

Basic Qualifications:

* Technical diploma from an accredited institution

* Minimum of one (1) year acute care hospital experience

* Current/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

* Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience

* Certification in any nursing specialty

* Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Infection Control Certified (CIC) Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) or Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI)

* Knowledge of acute care facilities, distribution supply chain, integrated delivery networks and/or national contracting

* Prior sales and/or sales support experience with corresponding sales drive

* Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically with two to four overnights per week

* Assertive, organized and detail oriented

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Exceptional problem solving skills and can 'think on their feet'

* Leader, yet team player

* Microsoft Office proficient

Location: Boston, MA (primary), Portland, ME or Hartford, CT (secondary)

Sales Territory: New England

Travel: May include up to 70% domestic/international
