Job Description

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Coordinates facility maintenance to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Produces timely staff schedules and maintains attendance records.

  • Maintains adequate levels of medical, office and other supplies to ensure operational efficiencies in a cost-effective manner and processes accounts payable invoices in a timely manner.

  • Ensures proper maintenance of medical records including medical chart audits.

  • Ensures monthly entry of medical supply and pharmacy charges into HBOC according to agency policy.

  • Assists clinical staff by screening triage calls and contacting on call staff.

  • Prepares facility for special events and meetings.

  • Organizes and performs work effectively and efficiently.

  • Maintains and adjusts schedule to enhance program performance.

  • Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team.

  • Maintains and promotes customer satisfaction.

  • Effectively demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Lower Cape Fear Hospice on a daily basis.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or an equivalent required.

  • Minimum of one year medical record, medical office or hospice experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
