The Business Office is a critical part of the Information Technology team at ATI. The Communications Manager - Change Management / IT will have the unique opportunity to learn & interface with all areas of the ATI business by acting as a partner to the business. As the Communications Manager - Change Management / IT, you will own and manage the IT department's communication strategies, determine appropriate communication media, create plans, and draft communications for project-related communications while collaborating with IT Project Teams, the CIO, Technology Training, and various other departments as needed. These communication strategies support the strategic and operational goals of the IT team, as well as raise awareness of the range of services delivered by IT to our user communities. This role will develop clear, organized, understandable, and user- and situation-specific communications for the intranet, IT projects, corporate IT communications, and IT newsletters.

Your Purpose at ATI:

* Develop and execute on a comprehensive communications strategy for the IT organization

* Own and manage IT's content presence on the firm intranet by collaborating with IT leadership to ensure accuracy and relevancy of information for ATI employees

* Lead communications for strategic initiatives: create and execute an IT Communications plan for

relevant work stream, collaborating with leads of impacted functional areas to ensure appropriate messaging and communication channels

* Develop & support improve the existing IT outage and maintenance communications processes

* Analyze available communications metrics to recommend improvements for the firm's intranet, IT project-related communications, and maintenance communications

* Ensure that the ATI team is informed about available & proposed technology services; proposed, ongoing, and completed technology projects; and operational status changes (e.g., planned or unplanned service outages)

* Serve as a primary source of content development for strategic initiative materials, such as briefing

documents, talking points, brochures, FAQs, fact sheets, and web site content where appropriate to the success of the initiative

* Provide project management support including strategic communications planning, timeline and milestone development, goals and measurement, assistance with resource allocation, and acting as a liaison with stakeholders and leadership

* Plan and execute change management deliverables on key strategic initiatives based on defined change management strategy. This includes but is not limited to: preliminary plan, change impact analysis, stakeholder assessment and engagement. inputs to the overall communication strategy, and sustainability plan

* Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

* Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics; identify and manage anticipated resistance

* Consult and coach project teams

* Coordinates and facilitates focus groups and/or project governance meetings to promote stakeholder engagement and compliance with planned timelines

What You Need to be Successful:

* Bachelor's Degree is required

* Minimum 5-7 years directly applicable experience in the management of change management, training and/or communication-related projects, including communication writing, development, planning and/or editing of content

* A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

* Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal a must

* Excellent active listening skills

* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences & the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

* Problem solving and root cause identification skills

* Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

* Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

* Strong consulting and analytical skills with the ability to assess business and human performance goals and gaps using both qualitative and quantitative factors

* Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

* Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

* Proficient in developing and following integrated, complex work plan(s) that span multiple projects

and stakeholders; ability to manage high load/complex projects

* Change Management certification (i.e. CCMP, CMS, Prosci, CPCM)
