Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst is a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis functional team, supporting the Supply Chain organization directly on a day-to-day basis. This person will be instrumental in helping the Supply Chain and FP&A leaders to establish high-performance capabilities. The Analyst will develop, interpret and quantify financial and operational metrics and analyses related to all aspects of the Supply Chain Organization (manufacturing, packaging, distribution, purchasing, support functions, etc.). There will be strong interaction with Sr. leadership across the Supply Chain Organization, as well as the other parts of the company..

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Develop, define and measure key performance indicators (KPI's)

* Develop and research budget/forecast/prior year comparison reports and provide variance explanation

* Assist in the consolidation and analysis of the annual budget and monthly forecasts

* Research, track and summarize key data, including, trends, profitability and expense analyses

* Coordinate budgeting and forecasting efforts and ensure that budget targets are achieved

* Validate facility productivity/cost-savings initiatives

* Monitor and control facility spend on a weekly and monthly basis

* Implement a 'checkbook' review process with Department Leads

* Support corporate during the month-end close process

* Sift through and analyze data and present in concise and structured manner

* Draw conclusions, develop recommendations and identify risks/opportunities from data

* Develop sustainable process improvements that can be incorporated into ongoing standard work within the organization

* Role will require some time on the Manufacturing/Packaging Floor


* 3 - 5 years of progressive responsibility in Accounting/Finance

* B.S. Accounting or Finance

* MBA/CPA preferred

* Cost Accounting experience

* Supply Chain Finance / FP&A experience preferred

* CPG experience preferred

* Understanding of Accounting principles (accruals, prepaid accounts, etc.)

* Strong MS Excel modeling skills

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

* Flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlines

* Effective communication and ability to influence others to get results or develop solutions.

* Continuous improvement approach

* Ability to work collaboratively within teams

* Ability to maintain effectiveness during major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures

* Continuously look for ways to do things faster and better, while maintaining high quality standards

* Creative and intellectually curious; tries different and novel ways to solve obstacles
