Sales Support Specialist

This position exists to support the Sales Organization in the achievement of revenue, customer satisfaction, process improvement, and market penetration objectives.

Accountabilities:

1. Provide market area sales support

2. Acts as a liaison between Sales and sales operations, billing, customer data administration, service administration, credit management, product and pricing, human resources, as well as the corporate services group

3. Provide timely and accurate completion of essential team reports including: weekly sales and actively report, contest and promotional tracking, expense and budget tracking, initiative tracking, performance management report, time-off tracking, and ad hoc reports.

4. Provide analysis support and sales tracking reports for specialized needs. Design, implement and maintain tools to track sales results of existing regional territories; help assimilate addition of new territories and/or organizational changes. Identify and summarize business trends to help achieve revenue growth.

5. Coordinate Sales operations support to include: oversight of office supply purchases; disseminate literature, pricing and promotion roll-out to sales teams; policy and procedural updates; recommend and implement incentive programs and customer-focused events; proactively identify, design and implement procedures.

6. Identify territory assignment

7. Participate in campaigns and product sales blitzes, lead generation assignments and market initiatives in the area of communication, planning and execution.

8. Compile and analyze data for business reviews, executive briefings for the sales leadership and sales teams

9. Identify, coordinate and implement processes improvements in the areas of contract simplification, order forms, literature, pricing roll-outs, promotions, credit card billing and general back office support.

10. Investigate and improve customer satisfaction issues including customer billing and invoices, order processing, contract implementation and credit card processing.

11. Sales organization liaison with Billing, Customer Data Administration, Credit Management, and areas in our Sales Operations function.

12. Coordinate and facilitate productivity and efficiency tools including sales force automation, new technology tools and account data and analysis (QMF, SIMS, Seibel etc.)

13. Run reports and information from sales automation tools including Seibel and Calidus, be able to analyze the data and come up with recommendation for solutions.

14. Ensures consistency in reporting and information provided to the sales leadership team. Produce various monthly customer revenue reports to provide sales leadership with information to define and build strategic plans.

15. Coordinate all special projects and follow through to completion.

Upon acceptance of this role, the selected internal candidate will be required to sign an updated Non-Competition Agreement or Non-Solicitation and Non-Disclosure Agreement as a condition of continued employment.

BS/BA or equivalent

3-5 years in a sales environment

Strong organizational, time management and forecasting skills

Experience in Project Management.

Demonstrated analytical experience

Strong ability in different administrative systems and software programs

Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge.

Some travel required
