Lead Copywriter

PRA Health Sciences Blue Bell, PA
Jazz icon Charles Mingus, Jr. was infamous for forcing his big band to rehearse all night while the rhythm section sat at the bar and watched. He believed that you could add drums, a bass, and a piano to anything and make it good, but in order to be truly great, the horns needed to "swing" without any assistance.

This is basically how we feel about writing - the right words provide the strongest possible foundation. You can add emotional photography, beautiful typography, and swelling music to make something work just fine; but to be truly great, the words needs to stand alone. We believe that story by itself has the potential to carry more emotional weight and have a deeper impact than any combination of creative media.

Our industry is on the verge of a revolution in how we connect with people, how we leverage technology, and how we ultimately leave humanity better than we found it. We're the fortunate few who have the inside track to actually determine how that change will take place. We have the team, the resources, and the experience - however, in order to really "swing," we need the best writers.

We need your talent.

You will be responsible for helping communicate the messaging, marketing, and global understanding of PRA and it's various business units, across various media platforms. From helping craft an aspirational slogan and helping finesse a speech or presentation to translating clinical and technological information for different audiences - the right person needs to be comfortable with various forms of copywriting. You will need to be able to think strategically AND creatively, sometimes in the same moment, and then jump in - you need to be a thinker AND a doer.
