Informatics Senior Specialist - Over 500 US Markets

Supporting this strategy is our Over 500 USMarkets Client Consulting & Analytics Team; whose mission is to demonstrateCigna's value proposition through expert consultation with our clients.

AsInformatics Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for advisingthe strategic direction of a 40 account book of Over 500 US Market clientsthrough the use of analytical tools to create insights-driven recommendations. In this role you will be responsible fordesigning and managing studies as requested by internal and external clientsfor purposes of improving health, and analyzing business opportunities andareas for improvement. You will havea significant role in the quality and integrity of data collected, analysisperformed, and reports generated. Thishighly visible role will be responsible for maintaining client relationshipsand ensuring Client Informatics is delivering the value demanded by our mostvisible clients.

Highlydetailed analysis of client data

* Prepare client specific cost, trend andutilization analysis on an approximately 40 account book of business.

* Conductad hoc analyses by synthesizing large volumes of data into meaningfulconclusions that help the client make informed decisions

* Evaluate client specific (when available) returnof Cigna's clinical and health engagement tools and programs.

* Identify and quantify benefit programopportunities that enhance Cigna's relationship with each client.

* Analyze network opportunity through Clientspecific networks assessments

Driveproduct and service solutions

* Deliver client-specific information todrive/validate overall engagement strategy.

* Demonstrating product opportunity during clientresult presentations

* Establishing direct client relationships on keyaccounts with client influencers/buyers.

* Identify emerging risks and opportunities todistribution leadership.

Communicationto key partners

* Present results and recommendations to clients.

* Act as an internal analytical consultant forexternal requests (consultant, client, account team).

* Establish partnership with sales executives indefining client engagement strategy, as well as health promotion mangers andonsite clinic medical staff.

Contributeto a learning culture

* Identify opportunities to enhance analytic toolsand develop new forecasting tools.

* Manage and deliver project work associated withCigna product initiatives that require informatics build and support

* Drive thecontinual development of Best Practice medical cost analytics and forecastingtools.

* Communicate analyticalfindings/gaps/solutions to senior management at client organizations.

* Prepare account team for clientinteractions by ensuring a clear understanding of informatics capabilities.

Strong analytical and technical skills

* Manage the synthesis of large data-setsinto meaningful information used to drive action.

* Proficient knowledge of data processingsoftware (Access, Excel)

* Understand detailed technical processesand create project specifications to support ongoing improvement of Cigna's reportingand analytics capabilities.

* Bachelor's Degree highly desired

* 5 years healthcare experience with demonstratedbusiness results in an analytics and consulting capacity

* Demonstrated ability creating andmaintaining professional relationships

* Demonstrated experience in creating andpresenting promotional materials

* Demonstrated experience in drivingbusiness results by providing business support that strengthens management'sability to make good business decisions.

* Effectively partner with and influencea cross-functional team

* Demonstrated communication skills; excellentverbal, written and presentation skills will be leveraged daily in this role
