Data Quality Auditor - CONTRACT

During one or more contract engagements will act as the liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and

validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. This position understands business

problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and is able to translate those requirements into solutions that

enable the organization to achieve its goals.


* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships and communications with Data Controllers, Data Governance Lead, Data

Stewards and Business Leads. •

* Prepare auditing analysis to identify trends, patterns, and/or system issues that may contribute to coding and

documentation deficiencies and risk areas.

* Deliver recommendations to CoE leadership regarding steps to alleviate deficiencies (such as training needs, monitoring

processes, and formalized procedures).

* Oversee communication of quality assurance results to providers, the appeal process if appropriate, and required

corrective actions.

* Communicate lack of corrective action to Governance Council as needed.

* Coordinate the development, implementation, completion, follow-up and evaluation of effectiveness of corrective action

plans as required.

* Identify and implement new methods of increasing efficiency and improving processes.

* Maintain audit records, dashboard reports, and audit in accordance with department policies

* Respond to ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

Scope: Medium – Collaborates with Business partners to ensure that Data Steward Standards are adhered to for both project work

(e.g. charters, scope documents, etc.) and business-identified initiatives. Candidate will also be responsible for ownership and

development of enhanced content and standardization tools from initial concept through release or support. Candidate will be

responsible for 2-4 small projects / business initiatives at a time.


* Bachelor Degree in Science (or technical field); Master Degree a plus

* 5 - 10 years professional experience; prior health care helpful

* Ability to influence peers

* Ability to navigate organization and build SME relationships

* Provide strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

* Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adjust to changing work environments..

Leadership: Lead operational and project related data quality audits. Must be able to navigate large, complex organizations and

build relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Location: With a focus on core locations such as Hartford, CT, Chattanooga, TN and Denver, CO, CIMA will consider flexible work

locations throughout the US including work-at-home.
