ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage team of credit underwriting professionals for a respective area such as consumer credit, business banking, or other related area

* Maintain the Credit Policy for the respective area recommending adjustments as necessary

* Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money and provide credit approval, tracking, monitoring and reporting

* Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions

* Analyze financial data such as income growth, quality of management, and market share to determine expected profitability of loans

* Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations

* Develop and implement credit products

* Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
