Responsible for providing quality customer service, Data Entry, taxpayer call center support through phones, email, and correspondence for our local, business license and sales and use tax online systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Heavy in bound and out bound phone calls, provide online support for taxpayers, ability to speak clear and concise, correspondence through email support. Ability to complete tasks by deadline and with little supervision. Additional responsibilities are assigned as deemed necessary on a weekly/daily basis.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years in an office environment with heavy inbound/outbound phone experience. Minimum 3 years customer service experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Alabama, California, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas Business Tax requirements helpful.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers and employees. Must have 10 key strokes of 10,000+. Ability to proofread correspondence, detect and correct errors, read, and interpret city/county tax ordinances. Ability to prepare routine correspondence and replies for signature with minimal guidance. Ability to perform basic math computations using online, desk top calculator, or creating calculations in spreadsheets. Ability to satisfactorily resolve routine situations based on supervisor’s guidance or written or verbal instructions.
