The Role:

The Global Touring Finance/Accounting Department is in search of a highly motivated individual to join its team. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic and a solid understanding of accounting.

Responsibilities

* Take part in managing the accounting for our overhead and artist companies for Live Nation's fully produced tours

* Review and reconcile show settlement files against supporting documents

* Update and maintain month-end balance sheet schedules and other reconciliations, including deferred revenue, prepaid and accruals

* Prepare journal entries for show activity, eliminations, petty cash, AMEX allocations, and more

* Manage intercompany balances between multiple Live Nation companies

* Prepare payroll entries and allocate to tours based on schedule and budget

* Monitor and adjust for foreign exchanges variances in balance sheet accounts

* Support the production accounting team through various assignments

* Reconcile Eclipse (production accounting software) to Oracle

* Assist with miscellaneous tax filings

* Tackle ad-hoc projects, including deep-dive analyses as needed

* Assist with monthly forecast

* Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

* Identify and lead process improvement projects to automate and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures, in order to maximize the contribution to strategic and business goals

* Additional opportunities in accounting functions as they arise

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field

* 3 - 5 years of progressive work experience

* Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and quality work

* Strong spreadsheet (Excel) and computer skills

* Oracle experience a plus

* Must show accountability, be proactive, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

* Independent, self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
