Envestnet is seeking a candidate to expand upon their knowledge on a broad range of financial services operations, working specifically on Performance and Reconciliation reporting. The successful candidate will play a dual role of supporting Client questions directly or through service teams related to Performance and reconciliation as well as assisting the offshore team with any day to day questions the team may have. The candidate will also work directly on Quarterly Performance Report print vendor set up, review printing cost, FTP delivery and document maintenance.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The prospective employee needs to have a solid understanding of Portfolio accounting system, mainly on reconciliation and performance reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Acts as subject matter expert for both internal Envestnet client service teams and external clients for all questions/issues related to Reconciliation and Performance reporting.

* Establishes and maintains strong and cooperative relationships with both internal client service teams and external clients to foster a cooperative environment for the resolution of process breakdowns.

* Gathers data on inbound requests (email, service request) and trends the data so that long term solutions can be established and installed

* Understands the downstream effect on the Portfolio Accounting System of all transactions including but not limited to the effect on accurate reconciliation, performance, unrealized/realized gain/loss and net investment.

* Works with configuration team on quarterly performance report template set ups or discussions as needed.

* Print Vendor set ups/discussions, review of print vendor contracts, invoices to monitor printing costs.

* Collaboratively works with clients to solve operational issues related to reconciliation and performance reporting. Assesses effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement as needed

* Improves customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; implementing changes.

* Promptly manages client requests either by telephone, electronically or face to face while obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.

* Organizes workflow to meet client timeframes and direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.

* Serves as a consulting source for staff and internal and external clients who require assistance/information regarding processes and procedures.

* Creates and maintains hard and soft process manuals. This may include but is not limited to procedural documentation, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and user guides.

* Create enhancement requests and help with testing release projects related to Performance or Reconciliation reporting.

* Oversees the production of quarterly performance reports to ensure accurate execution with respect to client instructions received.

* Assists Supervisor with projects on an as needed basis.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree

* Ability to work in a project-oriented, fast paced, high stress environment and meet deadlines under a time constraint

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Strong business and analytical skills

* 4+ years of experience in financial software or financial services

* Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
