  • 5-7 Years of Human Resources generalist experience.Seeking a Temporary Full-time HR Generalist for the period mid-February to mid-June, 2020.

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and provides administrative and project support to the Director of Corporate HR, as well as the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed. May also participate in special projects within the Corporate HR team.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct employee onboarding activities, I-9 employment eligibility verification, ensure completion and collection of new hire paperwork, communications, conduct day one new hire orientation; serve as primary contact for new employee questions; maintain employee personnel files.
  • Conduct employee off-boarding including all paperwork and systems terminations, collecting company property, and conduct exit surveys.
  • Responsible for generating Electronic Data Forms (EDF) in the HR Information System for various employee changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc.). Run Corporate HR reports from HRIS.
  • Handle employee requests for FMLA leave, including compliance, timely notifications, reporting, tracking and communications with employee and managed disability provider as needed.
  • Administer the HR Commons site on SharePoint including granting access rights and document upload and file maintenance. Maintain Global HR Contact list on SharePoint.
  • Review daily the Corporate HR Inbox and route emails accordingly.
  • Monthly and quarterly testing of hotline compliance systems.
  • Coordinates all new hire and promotion announcements for the Corporate Office. Assist managers in creating and editing announcements for Corporate and field staff.
  • Manage Tuition Reimbursement program for the Corporate Office. Process tuition payments, tracking, send quarterly reports to Payroll for any taxable tuition amounts.
  • Administer Service Award packet distribution to Corporate employees each month.
  • Administer Corporate unemployment claims and monitor vendor system for requests in the field, delegating as necessary.
  • Process Ohio Multiple Worksite Report quarterly.
  • Review and sign ALPAY report for Corporate Payroll on monthly basis. Cross reference EDFs submitted and ALPAY report for consistency for EY auditing purposes.
  • Work with HR Director and managers to create job descriptions and postings.
  • Process and code invoices for payment to outside services.
  • Re-route incoming HR mail to appropriate Business Units.
  • Various other HR generalist/admin duties, and ad-hoc request as needed.
