General Responsibilities:

Maintains, installs and troubleshoots IT related systems to ensure reliable operations.

Job Summary:

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and Help Desk requests for technical support.
  • Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining end user PCs within area of responsibility.
  • Hands on troubleshooting and installation knowledge of Microsoft Client Operating systems, Windows 7/8.1/10, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Imaging technologies

Qualifications:

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices: iPhone, iOS, and Android
  • Basic Working knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN Networking
  • Adhere to all safety policies & guidelines
  • Willingness to take on special projects as directed by management.

Education: Associates Degree in IT or related area.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years experience, A+ and Network+ certification required for Technician I. 3-5 years relevant experience for Technician II

Working conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The ability to lift 30-50 lbs without assistance.
  • Travel: Local travel may be required as needed. Must have a valid drivers license.
