Position Description

Provides replenishment support by building and maintaining relationships with buyers, planners, inventory managers, suppliers, and operators; ensuring internal and external customers have the information and merchandise required to support club requests, in-club features, and club sales goals; managing field calls, emails, Remedy tickets, and other club needs related to item activation, PO activation and adjustments, additional merchandise requests, and tire special orders; researching and resolving club out-of-stock issues; processing bottle deposits and cash redemption value (CRV); and linking CRV or bottle deposits to product item numbers. Forecasts and executes merchandise orders for club events (for example, new club orders, catalog, gift guide, transitions, features) by partnering with key stakeholders (for example, buyers, suppliers) to analyze and finalize orders; verifying the placement of purchase orders for necessary inventory; monitoring and tracking specific event inventory; partnering with Logistics to ensure efficient merchandise flow; making recommendations to cancel slow selling items; ensuring timeliness of deliveries; and managing rotational issues (for example, sell by date, end-of-season merchandise). Manages item-level inventory by providing insight to key stakeholders (for example, Merchandising and Planning) regarding inventory projections; monitoring and adjusting current inventory levels and seasonality profiles; ordering items in the appropriate replenishment systems (for example, GRS, INFOREM, imports, allocation); reviewing reports (for example, out-of-stock reports, high-on-hand (overstock) reports, import inventory reports) to identify opportunities and create corrective actions for improving inventory management performance; executing seasonal buy plans; reviewing supplier-managed orders to ensure accuracy; managing in-stocks down to the item and club levels; tracking orders to manage product flow to achieve and maintain in-stock levels; and redistributing products as needed. Creates and maintains item files by determining and scheduling product flow to clubs; building new item forms (for example, pack size pallet configuration, Universal Product Code (UPC)); verifying item pricing and distribution; creating direct-ship purchase orders; creating pack sell cost changes; communicating item number to facilitate ordering; tracking stock keeping unit (SKU) budgets; confirming item file information (for example, unit of measure, short description, and register rules) is accurate and compliant with city, state, county, and national laws and regulations; and processing item status changes and implementing inventory adjustments (for example, markdowns, liquidations, returns).
