Manufacturing Technician

No Experience required

Monday-Friday, 4X10 hour days

Wages are $14 and up, DOE

Volt in partnership with Qorvo would like to talk to you about a Manufacturing Technician opportunity located in Bend OR. Our client manufactures semiconductors in a full and semi clean room environment. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, able to follow precise procedures, and able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

* Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality

* Perform manual and semi-automated processes on wafers or cingulated die, which could include thin film deposition, photolithography, electrical test, inspections, and assembly operations

* Good hand/eye coordination for handling product using hand tools such as tweezers, must be able to work under low power stereo microscope

* Follow written procedures and build instructions

* Collect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databases

* Perform routine PM and calibration tasks for equipment

* Monitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limits

* Document tool, process, and product performance with escalation when appropriate

* Occasionally work with engineering team to support running experiments

* Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) ideas

* Ability to learn new processes quickly and willingness to cross-train in additional areas

* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Job Qualifications:

* High School diploma minimum required.

* Experience in a production environment, minimum 1-year experience recommended but NOT required

* Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

* The ideal candidate will have strong sense of leadership and integrity

* Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail

* Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment

* Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
