We are looking for a Sr Solutions Architect who will be working with a unique and gifted team developing new, exciting and cutting-edge products for consumers. The team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers, scientists, and business people engaged in a fast-paced mission to deliver these new products. The team faces a challenging task of balancing cost, schedule, technical invention, and performance requirements. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness. You should also be comfortable collaborating regularly with colleagues across many of Amazon’s current businesses, including devices, retail, and AWS.

In this role, you will be a Sr Solutions Architect that works with video game publishers and developers to help them bring their content and experiences to Amazon Luna customers. You will have deep technical knowledge and work closely with internal BD, Engineering and Product organizations, but spend much of your time interacting directly with partners. You will combine your unbridled enthusiasm and deep knowledge of video games and the video games industry with your ability to work with external partners. You have the technical background and experience to fluently interact with and provide guidance to software developers and architects, while also providing strategic technical guidance. You will also be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities.


  • Define, design and build products that delight consumers and compel them to engage despite an abundance of alternatives and distractions
  • Build the partner component of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Work closely and collaboratively with design and product teams from partner organizations. Drive dialog with engineering teams and program management from multiple products to deliver integrated services
  • Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs across partners and among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience serving as a SA in a fast-paced environment, including deep experience working with big, complex organizations to launch products and services
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-company teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
  • Experience working on hardware and software
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules Familiarity with mobile technology, web services, and back-end application infrastructure

Preffered Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Programmatic understanding of cloud services and device integration
  • Experience developing rich device-driven experiences and cloud service integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage trade-offs
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
