The Role (Strategic Intent):

The Strategy Director for Amazon will report into the VP/GM of Amazon within Kimberly-Clark North America Customer Development located in Bellevue, WA. This role will provide oversight of strategy deployment and leverage CI principles and tools to deliver breakthrough results in the fast-changing ecommerce world.

The role will interact with the CD Sr. Leadership team as well as across KCNA. It will work with the KCNA BU Strategy Deployment Directors, Field Sales VPGMs and teams, VP of CD Capabilities and HR Directors within KCNA to enable a cohesive Amazon agenda and manage the critical linkage across the portfolio of KCNA.

This role will also develop and drive an overall strategy that leverages internal and external SME's to drive improvements in how we partner with Amazon across platforms, delivers a 'vendor ecosystem' that provides a competitive advantage in the ecommerce world, and builds ecommerce capability within KCNA such that we are positioned as the best CPG ecommerce team in the industry.

* Interacts with all levels of the organization to create an end-to-end value stream thinking and connections

* Interacts across KCNA business units to drive meaningful connection back into the BUs

Key Accountabilities

* Develop and Deploy the Amazon Leadership Team (ALT) operational model in order to deliver breakthrough results in the fast-changing ecommerce world.

* Create ALT's OGSiM and help build work plans that support delivery of overall business objectives. Execute a tracking system to follow progress and assess results on a monthly basis in the team's executive scorecard.

* With the Amazon business leader: Build the ALT and evolve the culture; Support the talent management initiatives to attract/develop/retain top talent that helps us be the best CPG e-comm team in the industry

* Drive ad-hoc problem solving for critical issues that impact our ability to deliver our results

* Own the 'Change Management Process' as we lead the way in building Ecommerce capabilities for KCNA by influencing the customer capability function and by driving meaningful connection back into the BUs

* Help develop a 'Vendor Ecosystem' that provides a competitive advantage in the e-commerce world

* Identify and leverage best practices through external / internal benchmarking to drive improvements in how we partner with Amazon across platforms.

Required Qualifications:

* 3-5 years working in Ecommerce, preferably with Amazon – managing business, running a business, P&L; vendor management; contents/search/data analytics or working with agencies who specialize in these areas

* Undergraduate degree, Graduate degree (preferred)

* Minimum of 7 years of business leadership experience with a history or demonstrated business success

* 10-15 years of experience in strategy deployment or project management

* Demonstrated learning agility to work in ambiguous space

* Demonstrated ability to multiple timelines; tight deadlines; constraints

* Leadership with CoA principles and CI processes

* Outstanding organization / project management skills

* Ability to navigate ambiguity

* Strong communication / change management skills

* Strong understanding and experience in a global environment

* Strong leadership & EQ

* Brand building acumen

* Strategic thinker with strong execution
