Job Description Raleigh General Hospital

Responsible for recruitment activities with special emphasis on critical positions.

Maintains recruitment website and accepts and processes applications.

Performs transfer interviews in conjunction with Department Manager.

Develops recruitment plan for recruiting of critical positions and coordinates recruitment activities with area colleges and training programs.

Utilizes applicant tracking software to post current open positions and process applicants through completion of hire.

Assist in initial interview of applicants and provides department managers with qualified applicants and appropriately trends and compiles data of applicants.

Reviews and coordinates placement of contract staff by utilizing contract recruitment software to obtain contract staff.

Assist department managers to maintain accurate payroll/timekeeping for contract staff.

Serves as liaison to contract staffing companies.

Tracks and trends data related to recruitment and retention of employees and provides assistance to department managers to obtain qualified applicants.

Assists with HR activities as directed by HR Director.

Provides assistance to employees in conjunction with onboarding process as well as other Human Resources functions.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Required

Three years of directly related experience may be substituted for education.

Associate's degree in Business related field or current Licensed Practical Nurse required. Bachelors Degree Preferred

Three years of directly related experience may be substituted for education.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Valid WV Drivers License

Previous experience in Human Resources with applicant interviewing/selection experience preferred. Experience with recruitment activities desired. Experience using database and MS Word and Excel required. Must be available for occasional overnight travel.
