Cardiovascular TAVR/Clinical Coordinator

This position will function as a key member for the HVMG and Heritage Valley Health System Beaver TAVR Program. Secondary role will be to support other cardiovascular service lines as applicable. Must have specialized clinical knowledge and skill in diagnostic and interventional cardiology, peripheral and cardiac surgical procedures. This role must practice autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to oversee and manage patient's plan of care. The role includes scheduling and organizing care for patients who will be receiving a TAVR procedure, including pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural requirements. In addition oversight for other complex cardiovascular programs, as applicable. This includes data extraction, chart preparation, arranging pre and post procedure visits and providing patient/family education along with cardiology office responsibilities and perform patient rounds on the weekends when needed.


Must be a graduate of a professional school of nursing with current Pennsylvania Licensure. Two years of cardiovascular experience. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as good presentation and teaching skills. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to react calmly and appropriate to all situations. BLS certification. Extensive experience with computers is required, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment

Preferred: ACLS, Bachelor degree in nursing or related field.
