AMSP Supply Chain Manager


This position is responsible to provide leadership for the Supply Chain team within the Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Processes group (AMSP) for the Andersen Division. The primary goal for this leader is to ensure that we continue to build and lead a team that can help support the strategic initiatives for the Andersen Division. The position will also ensure that our supply chain team is executing per the Andersen Standard and in accordance to the tools that have been established. Assigned area of responsibility is large and complex with multiple plants and business teams to support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage strategic change within the Andersen Division along with business partners from RD&I, Operations, IT and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Responsible for the strategy development, prioritization and deployment of resources to meet business objectives, achieving 1-3 year goals.
  • Ensures work efforts are aligned to deliver expected outcomes, on time and on budget. Creates energy through aggressive goals to achieve breakthrough results.
  • Communicate and collaborate across functions such as Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, IT, Logistics.
  • Support and involve employees in identifying and permanently removing obstacles to performance excellence
  • Identifies key talent and develops employees to reach their potential
  • Provide appropriate training, tools, guidance, coaching and feedback to team
  • Drives a disciplined commitment to AMS systems and creates a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
  • Deliver performance to budget. Use participative approach in budgeting process.
  • Lives the Andersen values. Builds and inspires trust through transparency, and collaboration

Direction of Others:

  • Leads a department of supply chain professionals.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Technology. Experienced leader with 7+ years within supply chain, industrial/manufacturing engineering or project management.
  • Solid understanding of systems and processes that support supply chain and manufacturing operations such as ERP, WMS
  • Knowledge in supply chain and lean methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools, IT systems and material flow systems preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and sell ideas to operations partners, as well as influence the team and other project managers
  • Experience in creating high performance teams through understanding employee capabilities and providing performance feedback.
