Overview

Stoneridge Software is looking for an experienced Team Manager who will be responsible for managing individual team members across a range of technical competencies, and also provide thought leadership as we develop a framework for employee self-development, as well as being the driving force to create an Academy for new team members.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a proven people manager and dynamic, strategic thinker who will lead a team to deliver outstanding services across Stoneridge Software. This role will interact closely with a broad and diverse set of internal stakeholders to foster a cohesive, creative, and comfortable working environment, mediating any interpersonal issues within the team, providing leadership and direction where necessary.

Responsibilities

* Manage a team with a diverse background and experiences while ensuring their self-development and career advancement plans are established and well-communicated.

* Establish and achieve team member individual targets; this includes identifying appropriate technical mentoring plans for each team member.

* Develop a new hire academy, for hiring and onboarding new team members who are new to either our product offerings or the consulting profession.

* Lead resourcing decisions as new work drives demand, carefully balancing capacity across the team with Stoneridge Software's other priorities.

* Build & manage strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate the sharing of information in order to ensure informed business prioritization and decision making.

* Drive alignment across all departments to ensure a holistic "One Stoneridge" approach to delivering support with the highest quality and speed to value.

* Drive strategic transformation initiatives, including proactively identifying and solving roadblocks in the process, in order to get ahead of changes in our business and our launch support services.

* Operate as an outstanding people leader, with proven track record of attracting, retaining, and cultivating high performing talent.

* Develop a framework for broader company (not just immediate team) self-development planning and tracking.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 8 years business experience in Operations, Program Management, Process Design, System design, or Support Engineering. MBA preferred.

* 4+ years' experience leading, managing and motivating a team through various stages of growth and learning development.

* A track record of exceptional partnering across a various internal business groups, executive stakeholders and execution partners with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels.

* Proven impact and influence skills - ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, integrate disparate opinions into cohesive strategy/message and present/defend recommendations.

* Exceptional written, verbal and creative communication skills, including ability to translate insight into content, create slide or written presentations, create overall communication plans.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics technologies.

* Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate uncertain situations to drive for clarity; work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-speed environment.
