Marketing Coordinator –Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as Marketing Coordinator. This position is responsible for organizing logistics for internal events, programs, and community outreach activities, and assisting on projects specific to the customer experience and internal brand. This position is preferred to be located in Ellsworth, ME, but other locations throughout out tri-state footprint would be considered for the right candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Hands-on involvement with a variety of marketing logistics, including event/project administration, scheduling, ordering, tracking, distributing, and general inventory oversight. This may include gathering collateral items as needed and maintaining overall supplies for the Marketing Team.

* Prepare and collect information pertinent to event and project initiatives, including editing, data review, graphics, and mailing correspondence as needed. May review press releases, collect news ads, submit sponsorship and ad requests in tracking module, and maintain overall marketing procedures.

* Assists with daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow including adequate and timely follow up.

* Responsible for tracking and communicating project invoices and expenses relative to project and event budgets. Reporting variables and changes in a timely manner and coordinating with vendors and other key staff to ensure event or project success.

* Support the implementation and execution of both internal and external events. Communicate with key staff to support overall objectives and event strategy. This may include bank sponsored events such as tradeshows, customer appreciation days, holiday gifting programs, tournaments, and internal company parties.

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

* Support best practices and enhance the Marketing Team with high energy, enthusiasm, and positivity.

* Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. Including analyzing and interpreting data, communicating and reporting information appropriate to all audiences.

* Must be flexible and adapt to changes and variables with ease.

* Must provide outstanding, professional, and consistent customer service to all employees, vendors, and customers.

* Contribute to Marketing Team efforts by accomplishing quality results within adequate timelines.

* Must possess a general understanding for the latest technologies with a willingness to respond to local and market trends with ease.

* Enthusiastically support the Bank's Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors.

* Adhere to regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act.

* Comprehend and adhere to federal banking regulations in accordance with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust's policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

* Minimum of a high school degree or the equivalent

* At least 3 years experience in marketing administration or similar role

* Experience with event planning and coordination preferred

* Project management preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical Demands: General office environment and may include light lifting of boxes and or other items

Work Environment: General office environment that's fast paced, may be self directed, and include communication with all departments across the company footprint

Schedule Expectations:

This is full-time year round position; Monday through Friday. Weekend work may apply as needed
