To help achieve this goal, we are building a world-class Financial Planning and Analysis team whose focus will be developing core competencies in the areas of strategy development, ROI measurement, and short & long-range planning.

The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis – Sports Marketing will be a critical member of this team reporting directly to the Senior Director of FP&A – Global Marketing. This position will be an integral business partner supporting the Global Sports Marketing Leadership Team, forecasting and optimizing short & long-term Marketing spend, deal modeling for all Sports Marketing contracts, and enabling good decision-making through financial analysis.

Specific Responsibilities

* Provide financial leadership, budget management, investment analytics and strategic support for Global Sports Marketing Leadership team.

* Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning/forecasting process.

* Lead in-depth financial, variance and trending analysis for all areas of Sports Marketing. Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to ensure financial plans are achieved.

* Preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews for executive management.

* Provide visibility to the financial impact of opportunities and risks arising between quarterly updates to ensure they are incorporated in overall Company earnings forecast.

* Promote ROI culture and connection of investment to revenue by measuring effectiveness of Marketing programs and drive cost savings initiatives.

* Lead monthly accounting close process/requirements for dedicated area.

* Drive long-range planning process anchored in the company's growth objectives and strategies.

* Supervise direct report(s).

Qualifications

* BA/BS required. MBA strongly preferred.

* 7-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Business Analysis.

* Consumer products experience preferred.

* Team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines.

* Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, cash flow valuation, scenario/sensitivity analysis

* Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations.

* Solid understanding of Accounting rules and regulations

* SAP/BPC experience a plus.
