Ave Maria University seeks broadly trained candidates for an instructor in mathematics beginning July 1, 2023, subject to final administrative approval. A Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field is desired, although candidates with an M.A. will also be considered. Additional requirements include an active program of research, teaching experience, and a commitment to the University’s mission to educate the whole person in light of the Catholic liberal arts tradition as expressed in the document Ex Corde Ecclesiae (

The primary duties of the successful applicant will be teaching core mathematics courses, including College Alegbra, Functions, and Calculus, as well as institutional service including student advising and membership in assigned faculty committees. Exceptional candidates active in any area are encouraged to apply.
