The Third Party Services Manager will be the primary interface with the third-party facilties service provider. This person will own the operational relationship with assigned facilities within their geography, monitoring and managing service performance, SHE&S, and cost.

The Third Party Services Manager will be assigned responsibility for a group of facilities within the region, with the specific number determined by geography proximity, shipment count, business complexity & special attributes, and individual experience/capability.

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers by frequent visits, performance reviews and contract execution
  • Lead periodic performance reviews
  • Lead third party facilities inventory controls (Execution of Annual Stock Count or Cycle Counts)
  • Oversight of SHE&S performance and policy adherence.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding third party service providers as required
  • Updating global third party service provider database & facility details
  • Invoice validation and cost approval
  • Identify frequency and cause of service failures and lead efforts to identify and implements solutions
  • Drive execution of working processes according to industry best practices
  • Be a work process expert within the External Facilities team
  • Likely to be a key user for the systems - SAP, WMS, etc.
  • Site logistics activities support in case of unresolved or ongoing issues
  • Facilitate meetings and actions to improve operational performance at the when needed.
  • Collaborate on performance report reviews with Regional Third Party Services Manager
  • Track/review KPI reports and implement improvements
  • Serve as the escalation point for issues unresolved through normal operational channels.
  • Update relevant documents on the Document Management System
  • Investigate and resolve Third party facilities related customer complaints
  • Coordinate and integrate efforts with the Systems and Process Specialists.

Profile

Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field from 4-year accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience of at least 8 years in the site logistics/warehouse field.

Travel is a required and an integral part of the role: 50% - 75%.

Minimum 5 years' experience in warehousing / supply chain including supervisory / management roles. Experience with chemical companies is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge in performing warehousing activities.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and quickly develop a solution.

Experience with supplier relationship management and performance evaluations.

Ability to use data to support decision making and develop solutions to present to leaders.

Ability to support process improvement initiatives while balancing daily responsibilities.

Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS) and to general business management (MS Excel, Word).

Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with various levels and functions within the organization, including global team members and third parties

Strong analytical skills and abilities

Language requirements (Spoken and Written)
