Senior Salesforce Administrator

This technically savvy process focused individual will work closely with business sponsors and end users to support and maintain Salesforce.com at Bazaarvoice. This role is part technical project manager, part power administrator and part evangelizer. As a senior system administrator, this person will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, training and improvement of the SFDC platform and related systems. In this role you will also embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems, identifying additional technologies that support BVs business model and acting as a SFDC knowledge expert of evolving and new processes. With minimal supervision, you will analyze requests for system changes and develop effective solutions that meet the needs of the business while balancing the development and maintenance costs to implement them.

Essential Functions

* In coordination with the SFDC Developers, execute solutions design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design and rule logic definition

* Effectively test and deploy solutions individually or as part of a project tea

* Provide technical leadership on cross functional projects, with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and juggle simultaneous requests

* Manage tasks and duties in unfamiliar territory

* Find opportunities for system and business process improvement

* Manage business context and pressures to make SFDC valuable to the business

* Lead and prioritize numerous tasks from a variety of sources and sponsors

* Follow established processes relating to work assignment, communication, development, deployment etc.

* Demonstrate a real passion for solving challenges by leveraging technology solutions

* Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

* Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and show initiative to take on tasks

Required Skills and Experience

* 5+ years experience in an IT related field

* 4+ years of hands-on SFDC experience

* SFDC Administrator certification

* Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

* Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and manage laterally as well as upwards

* Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

* Creative and analytical thinker

* Strong problem solving skills

* Extensive experience working directly with end users as well as Director level & above business sponsors

* Experience supporting a large sales and/or services organization

* Experience working with and managing vendors and partners to configure and develop software solutions

* Provide instruction to audiences of varying technical backgrounds

Desired Skills and Experience

* 5+ years experience in an IT related field

* 4+ years of hands-on SFDC experience

* SFDC Administrator certification

* Strong understanding of Salesforce.com process and functionality

* Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and manage laterally as well as upwards

* Good interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

* Creative and analytical thinker

* Strong analytical skills

* Extensive experience working directly with end users as well as Director level & above business sponsors

* Experience supporting a large sales and/or services organization

* Experience with SQL, Flow, Visualforce, Apex, Data.com, Steelbrick (Salesforce CPQ), Boomi

* Service Cloud certification

* Sales Cloud certification

* SFDC Advanced Administrator certification

* SFDC Developer certification

Education

* ·Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
