As a Procure to Pay (P2P) Solutions Architect, Supply Chain Technology, you will be working with a unique and gifted team and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be primarily responsible for leading our Enterprise Resource Planning solutions architecture covering end to end Procure to Pay (P2P) business process flow to streamline business processes and meet business goals. Responsibilities include ownership of all aspects of Procure to Pay (P2P) business process flow functional aspects of implementation and integration of Supply Chain technology to Amazon business accounting. Ensure delivery of solution design and enhancement artifacts align to established design standards within the organization and best leverage the capabilities of ERP for future growth. Partner with operations teams to obtain a solid working understanding of business process and objectives to best position delivered solutions. You will be eliminating implementation obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches, ensure deployment readiness for each functional area, assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate efficiently and professionally. You will provide architectural guidance to a team of Oracle functional analysts covering all aspects of multiple locations. Ensure delivery of solution design and enhancement artifacts align to established design standards within the organization and best leverage the capabilities of Oracle EBS for future growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • A functional professional with 3+ complex, full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • Responsible for designing, planning and executing application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of implementation and testing process.
  • Reviewing and approving all deliverable work products prior to delivery
  • Reports to senior management on deployment plans, project deliverables, and related matters
  • A lead resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping practical business solutions, identifying and consulting with clients on business process transformation, optimization and best-practice initiatives, testing, training, managing go-live and system cutovers, defining support procedures
  • Functional design and configuration experience with some combination of the following Oracle EBS Financials modules in Release 12 (R12): Purchasing, General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, EBTax, Treasury, Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS), Order to Cash (O2C), Invoice, Record to Report (R2R)
  • Possess a complete and thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including GAAP procedures, SOX compliance, localizations.

Preffered Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation experience
  • Experience building end to end Supply Chain processes, project management, and release schedules for ERP global deployment
  • Full cycle Oracle EBS SCM or Financials implementation or major upgrade experience
  • Expert in the setup and integration points of multiple Oracle eBusiness suite modules
  • Experience with Oracle Implementation Methodology, Business Process Engineering and or similar ERP implementation methodologies
  • Experienced global business solutions analyst with high level of knowledge of Oracle EBS modules used in the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Distribution and Manufacturing functional domains
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/undefined problems
  • Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
  • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software system
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas
