Job Summary and Qualifications: As the Manager for Case Management Services, you will play a pivotal role in promoting patient-centered care. Reporting to the Case Management Director, your responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of hospital-based case management, supervising a dedicated team, and ensuring the highest standards of care.

What You Will Do:

  • Be a role model and clinical resource for your team.
  • Oversee staff development and daily department activities.
  • Ensure staff competence in care coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Monitor quality interactions, documentation, and assessments.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Advocate for patient rights, needs, and values.


  • BSN Required.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
  • 2+ years of case management experience.
  • InterQual experience is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • Take on administrative responsibilities for our Division Director of CM.
  • Work one day a week at SDMC and fill a float pool CM position in Austin.
  • Manage the CM float pool, a mix of Social Work and Case Management (11 FTE).
  • Opportunity for occasional travel to El Paso.
  • Competitive salary with relocation option.
