Job Description/Overview

1. Delivery Excellence -The practice manager will be responsible for defining and managing delivery standards to ensure that our customers experiences are of the highest quality and consistency. The practice manager will play a key role in the envisioning and development of new service offerings that align with our current go to market strategy. 2. Thought Leadership -The practice manager will bring a combination of hands-on experience, expert-level accreditation and a demonstrable passion for AWS and Azure products and services. As a customer-facing ambassador of the practice, the practice manager will help to build and nurture community through education and evangelize the possibilities of AWS and Azure. 3. Mentorship -The practice manager will invest in and be accountable for mentoring team members. Growth -The practice manager will have a shared responsibility for the growth of the overall practice.

Responsibilities/Job Function

* Represent the SHI's AWS and Azure Practice for new offerings and updates across multiple business units. • Participate/lead development of new AWS and Azure practice offerings. • Establish standards, facilitate creation of content, drive adoption and acceptance from key stakeholders. • Facilitate the building of, adoption and training for our professional services organization including: SAs, SEs, and PMs. • Participate in launching of new offerings through sales enablement training and programs to the sales organization. • Support the SHI AWS community for their needs during pre-sales and delivery. • Ensure all professional services personnel are enabled for the selling and delivery of all SHI offerings as applicable. • Act as a subject matter expert, provide technical expertise across the teams. • Provide subject matter expertise as required for creation of project statement of work (SOW), bill of materials (BoM), professional services quotes. • Monitor, evaluate and report on trends within the industry to assist in future offering development. • Provide oversight on technology, quality, cost, and schedule for projects within the AWS practice. • Support and develop methodologies for tracking, measuring and analyzing success/problems encountered when delivering Hybrid Infrastructure routes to market. • Foster a community of collaboration and contribution across the Practice. • Communicate to key stakeholder deviations from standards and the impact / risks to the business.

Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

* 15+ years of relevant experience in IT administration, consulting, professional services and/or software engineering… previous practice leadership experience is ideal • Demonstrable experience architecting and implementing AWS solutions • Ability to Work well in a team environment • Ability to communicate effectively • Passionate and creative problem solver • Action oriented • Comfortable in front of a whiteboard with an audience

Certifications Required

* 2 or more Associate level AWS certifications • 1 or more Professional level AWS certifications
