To qualify for this opportunity all we ask is that you:

* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment

* Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience in supervisory role in a hospital, nursing care facility of other related health care facility

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) we are not just looking for a clinically sound person, we want someone who fits into our desired culture as well:

* Assist the DON plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing service department

* Ensure that the Nursing Procedures Manual is current at all times and reflects the day-to-day nursing care procedures used by the facility

* Ensure nursing personnel have completed orientation, competencies and perform annual and periodic evaluations

* Ensure nursing personnel have maintained required annual in-servicing

* Responsible for the daily calculation of the direct nursing care personnel on duty each shift

* Assist in the recruitment and interviewing of nursing personnel

* Ensure licensed nurses and nurse aides have current certification and/or license

* Monitor nursing care to ensure all residents are treated fairly and with kindness, dignity and respect

* Provide written reports to the Quality Assurance Committee in order to track and trend downfalls within policies and procedures and facility programs
