Job Summary:

The University of Colorado Denver l Anschutz Medical Campus is seekingapplications for a Continuing Education Program Professional. This full-time UniversityStaff (non-classified) position provides direct professional supportfor the teaching and/or educational service mission of the university.Functions include academic advising/counseling, student personneladministration, recruitment and admissions, registration, financial aid,faculty affairs, library services, curriculum administration, and othersinvolving direct support of the educational mission of an academic unit.

The Center for Health, Work &Environment (CHWE) at the Colorado School of Public Health conducts research,offers education and training, and implements community-based public healthprojects, as well as pilot project research opportunities throughout the West.It is committed to partnering with community stakeholders who share the missionof improving the health, safety and well-being of workers, their families, andcommunities.

Job Summary:

This position will serve as the ContinuingEducation Program Professional for the CHWE based at the Anschutz MedicalCampus. They will be responsible for the design, development, coordination andmanagement for all educational initiatives serving working professionals. This position will work with seniorleadership, outside communication and idesign agencies, and leading academicfaculty to develop innovative and relevant educational offerings that addressemerging workplace health and safety issues.

The scope of educational delivery will rangefrom self-paced online courses housed on our learning management system toin-person training workshops and educational conferences. Our mission is part of a broader effortsupported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), NationalInstitutes for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to disseminateevidence-based practices and knowledge about occupational safety, workplacehealth promotion, and Total Worker Health ® (TWH). Thismission spans professional audiences including business executives, health andsafety professionals, human resources managers, employees, and others across awide range of industries. The idealcandidate for this position will have exceptional project management,communication, and continuing education skills. We're seeking someone with apassion for client interaction and the desire to make a huge public healthimpact through education.

Thisposition reports directly to the Instructor in the Center for Health, Work& Environment

This position will not supervise any staff. It mayassist with students, part-time employees and trainers.

Examples of WorkPerformed:

* Workwith project leads (faculty, trainers, clients) to coordinate and execute CEevents and courses, while using Association Management Software (AMS) to manageenrollments and students

* Design,launch and market self-paced online courses, while collaborating with subjectmatter experts to record lectures, coordinate educational content, developpromotional partners, and organize marketing effort

* Attendlocal, regional, and national conferences to promote new training and presentcurriculum results

* Manageapplying for and renewing a variety of continued education credit includingCME, CNE, PDC and CEUs.

* Managecurrent online courses, conduct systematic course audits for course qualitycontrol and assurance, and learning management system (LMS) maintenance

* Serveas onsite coordinator to facilitate off-site trainings

* Workwith content team to develop interactive training handbooks

* Conducttraining evaluation, tracking, and reporting

* Projectmanage contract trainings where training staff are sent off site to delivereducational workshop

* Workwith events team to develop and conduct live, in-person continuing educationevents

Salary and Benefits:

The hiring salary for this position is $40,125 - $66,875 and is commensuratewith skills and experience. This position is not eligible forovertime compensation.

Minimum Requirements:

* A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business,public administration, health care, educational technology, social science,liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or adirectly related field from an accredited institution and 2 years ofprofessional level experience in public health or wellness related work.

Substitution: A combination of education and relatedtechnical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor'sdegree on a year for year basis.
