Responsibilities

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is expected to be a credible leader and an engaged partner with leadership teams across University Health Care System. The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team of talent acquisition consultants in sourcing, recruiting and on-boarding candidates across the healthcare system. The manager will develop strategies, processes and procedures to identify, attract and retain highly qualified individuals. Success in this role requires working at a fast pace, developing candidate pipelines that meet staffing needs, establishing and meeting both weekly and monthly goals all while building a reputation for solid, competent and caring hires.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Experience:

Seven years' experience in recruiting and sourcing top talent required. Experience must include a minimum of two years of working in a healthcare setting and two years managing and leading teams.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge/experience of federal and state employments laws and other government compliance regulations.

Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, action-oriented organization.

Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Business acumen as relates to human resources.

Strong computer / enterprise system skills and analytic skills.

Ability to successfully coach employees and managers through concerns/issues.

Ability to provide development guidance to employees and managers.

Sense of urgency.

Ability to manage priorities.

Ability to maintain composure in emergency or high-stress situations.

Physical Demands:

Ability to move throughout the hospital to accomplish duties. Visual ability to read documents and information on personal computer. Manual dexterity to enter and retrieve data on PC . Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to sit long periods of time. Ability to lift moderately heavy objects (e.g., boxes of materials).
