As a Project Management Specialist, you will be managing or leading organization-wide workforce development and workforce transformation programs and projects. This position is located in the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Commissioner's Office. This office is

responsible for supporting FAS workforce strategy and transformation activities at the request of the FAS Commissioner.

The location of this position is any GSA satellite location in the U.S. The specific satellite location can be negotiated after selection.

You will be responsible for:

* Providing project management over the full project life cycle process, including requirements gathering through design and implementation.

* Leading innovative studies of human capital management projects, programs, and initiatives including: human capital planning, resource requirements, forecasting, program audits, and evaluations.

* Providing high-level technical advice to customers, identifying and specifying customer requirements, performs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business solutions and solves the most difficult technical problems.

* Establishing and maintaining critical relationships with other Federal agencies, private sector vendors and contractors, and other stakeholders in order to implement the FAS transformation plan.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify, you must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is managing or leading organization-wide workforce development and workforce transformation programs and projects, including development of internal and corporate-wide/agency-wide

communications, management and improvement of administrative business processes, development of training and curriculum to support the workforce, and/or development and implementation of strategic plans to manage both organizational and culture change.
