Compensation (Hourly Range)*:$45-47/hr.

This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with ours client companies. Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as a Powertrain Controls Engineer will include

* Participate in a team of engineers responsible for the development, integration, build and test of embedded software for electrified powertrain control modules.

* Perform full cycle development right from software requirements analysis, design, coding, test plan creation, and validation on MIL/HIL/vehicle for various controls features.

* Perform reviews for Requirements and Design Documents. Develops Simulink Models, Test

* Plans and performs integrated testing on HiL/MIL/Vehicle.

* Perform failure mode analysis, root causing issues diagnostic analysis, design, implementation and testing.

Job Requirements

As an= Powertrain Controls Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

* BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required from an accredited University.

* 3 years of experience in model based design with a proven record of robust implementation using MATLAB/Simulink.

* Strong knowledge of tools for model based design, auto code generation, manual/automated test case development, and configuration/data/change management.Able to read and understand C code.

* Good understanding of CAN data networking. Proficient with Vector tools (Canalyzer, CANape, CANoe).

* Embedded software experience desirable. Electronic module/system experience desirable.

* Should be knowledgeable in Powertrain systems - control systems development and calibration refinement. Electrified powertrain systems knowledge desirable.

* Experience with data analysis to root cause/debug issues.Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills. Quick learner who is passionate about his/her work and willing to work extra hours to meet aggressive timelines.

* Self-starter who is able to work cross-functionally with other people.

* Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record.

* May be required to travel domestically and internationally 20%
