Splint Champion Part-time, early evenings


Assists comprehensive rehabilitation and medical staff team members (including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses and patient care technicians) through application of nighttime orthotics and removal of daytime orthotics. Provides patient/family education on need for orthoses. Serves as liaison between nursing and therapy and ensures communication between day shift and night shift with regard to key issues involving potential skin breakdown or orthotic fit. Additional duties include correctly stretching upper and lower extremities, managing neck/trunk orthoses and problem-solving edema concerns. Demonstrates effective time management based on the patient census. All activities are performed under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or nurse, as outlined by the licensing body for each discipline.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in health-related field preferred. Resume submission required for consideration.

Experience: One year previous health care experience as CNA or therapy/program technician preferred. working knowledge of Microsoft office
