Repossession Administrator

Summary Repossessions Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Repossessions Department. Responsible for supporting Leadership and employees through a variety of tasks related to the Repossessions Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Responsible for reviewing, processing and documenting repossession and auction invoices.

* Responsible for processing, documenting, and scanning auction, rebates, and insurance checks.

* Ensure updates are received and placed on Repossession accounts.

* Assist the Repossession Specialists with hold and close request from the Collections department.

* Assist the Repossession/Remarketing department in handling all inbound phone calls.

* Ensures compliance with state laws regarding the right to cure (RTC), Strict Compliance Letter (SCL), Soldiers and Sailors Credit Protection (SSCRA), and any Bankruptcy protection requirements.

* This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma or GED and two to five years of auto collection experience.
