Overview

The Digital Learning team understands current learning technology capabilities and identifies emerging technology opportunities (e.g. LMS, use of virtual reality/augmented reality, apps, gamification). They work cross functionally and across the Restaurant Training department to understand technology needs and gain alignment at time of implementation. They ensure that all digital training systems are usable, reliable, and effective. The Digital Learning Sr. Lead casts vision, develops and refines the digital roadmap for Restaurant Training. S/he is a forward thinker and continuous learner who is adept at listening to the needs of stakeholders and business partners to translate felts needs into business results that increase efficiency, effectiveness & scale and reduce costs. They must demonstrate an ability to anticipate business needs and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

* Develops mutual partnerships throughout the organization to align with business goals and objectives

* Build and present business case(s) for digital learning initiatives

* Ensure integration of digital learning strategy throughout Restaurant Training

* Leads the rollout of technology related Restaurant Training software updates or changes

* Plan and schedule, analyze and direct the work of internal and external resources assigned to each project

* Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with both Restaurant Training staff and technology's users

* Create and communicate with key stakeholders to assist in developing effective process vision, strategy, process maturity, and overall direction

* Coach, consult, and train users of the new technology. This includes Restaurant Training staff, Operators, Team Members and any external parties

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience within program management and/or product development functions

* Demonstrate and share a passion for digital learning in a collaborative environment

* Experience of IT change management processes, project lifecycle, business communications, & force-ranking and prioritization

* Proven ability to think strategically while delivering practical solutions

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate and lead projects

* Experience with mobile applications or Cloud Platforms
