Manager, Transformation Change Support

POSITION PURPOSE

Position Purpose: The Transformation Change Support Manager is responsible for developing communications and change management strategies specific to a large-scale HR systems transformation. The manager will lead a team that focuses on the people side of change and communications for changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures as applicable. The primary focus will be creating and implementing communications and change management plans that minimize associate resistance and maximize associate engagement. This individual will manage several projects at a time as well as provide leadership and development coaching/guidance to Business Analysts.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* 50% - Works extremely closely with implementation partner to develop communication and change management strategies, including defining project requirements and objectives; identifying resource requirements; developing communication and change management project schedules for initiatives related to the HR systems transformation

* 20% - Evaluate and assess existing communication and change management processes and tools; identify and explore best-in-class delivery methods to achieve the highest efficiency and value for both associates and company resources.

* 15% - Oversees project status reviews, ensures quality of all project deliverables. Works with the Associate Communications peers and other cross-functional partners to leverage THD communication distribution methods and communication vehicles.

* 15% - Provides management leadership and development/coaching guidance for Business Analysts and Business Clients

NATURE AND SCOPE

Typically reports to Sr. Manager HR Services or Director HR Services

Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience of system design and support

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting change for enterprise HCM systems implementations- Workday experience preferred

* Experience working with systems integration vendor partner(s) supporting Change Management

* Experience developing and implementing Communication and Change Management practices: Change Impact Analysis and Planning; Communications, including executive level

* and broader stakeholder communications; Training Design and Development; Business Readiness; Risk Assessment; Adoption and Sustainability Planning and Management

* Expertise in HR business processes and project management

* Experience in managing cross-functional project teams to improve business processes and implement new information systems. Experience may be gained within the industry or within the management consulting field

* Experience managing direct reports

* Communication and Change Management retail experience preferred
