About This Opportunity

The HR Manager is responsible for providing human resources consultation and support to organizational leaders, managers, supervisors and employees regarding HR initiatives, company policies and employment best practices. Areas of support include: employee relations, performance management, compensation, organizational design and engagement for a respective assigned client group. The HR Manager will also serve as the principal point of contact for employee and manager inquiries from assigned client groups, etc. regarding HR concerns and issues.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the HR Manager include but are not limited to:

* Receives, responds to, and resolves employee relations issues from employees, supervisors and managers within assigned client groups related to but not limited to performance issues, conduct/ behavior issues, conflict resolution and policy interpretation.

* Provides a full range of consultative advice to supervisors and managers, as it relates to compensation and salary administration.

* Advises and counsels supervisors regarding corrective actions; conducts fact finding investigations intake; address general HR inquires.

* Provides guidance and consultation regarding state, federal employments laws including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, DOL Regulations, Title VII and interface with other HR subject matter experts when necessary and appropriate.

* Provide oversight for the development of companywide enterprise initiatives/ programs.

* Completes special projects, and assists in other cross functional human resources related activities/ initiatives.

* This position will also be responsible for other task and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

* 7 - 10 years minimum years of progressive Human Resources experience as a HR generalist; at least 3 years as a HR Manager

* Effective written/ verbal communication skills required

* Must possess excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks in order to handle multiple projects or assignments and meet deadlines/deliverables; and provide timely follow-up/follow-through.

* Highly detailed driven with emphasis on confidentiality, time sensitivity, accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.

* Ability to provide HR support to geographically dispersed populations

* Possess strong MS Office software skills including ability to apply author presentations (PowerPoint), draft content driven memos (in Word or Outlook), and ability to manipulate and create data (in Excel) and familiarity with HRIS systems
