Contract Management Intern

Summary

The purpose of this intern position is to assist the Procurement team in completing various tasks, primarily within the contract management process. The Intern will work closely with the Procurement team members to complete these tasks and will be responsible for communicating their work and findings via a PowerPoint presentation at the end of the internship.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:

* Input executed supplier contracts into the Contract Management database

* Work through current backlog of executed contracts

* Monitor and complete the setup of reporting folders for each location

* Ensure monthly contract reporting is sent out

* Assist in the development and use of appropriate strategies for identifying current roadblocks and inefficiencies within the process

* Identify most common issues/problems with contract information when inputting into the system

* Apply strategies and techniques to overcome these obstacles and optimize the process

* Work with the Legal Technology team to assist with the development of Contract dashboard and enhanced reporting

* Assist with strategy and tasks to update "owner" for existing contracts that were migrated

* Assist with other Procurement tasks as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Takes initiative to accomplish business objectives, seeks new assignments and requests to learn more about the business

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work as part of an integrated team

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program

* Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or Procurement preferred
