Description:

Under limited

supervision, operate, troubleshoot, and perform advanced maintenance activities

for automated vaccine packaging and labeling equipment such as: high speed

labelers, robotic pick and place equipment, high speed vision systems, shrink

wrappers, printers, and conveyance systems.

Duties &

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and monitor
    Set-ups, Changeovers, and autonomous maintenance on the Packaging equipment.
  • Performs accurate
    troubleshooting of equipment/system events and contributes to detailed failure
    analysis to uncover root cause.
  • Develop and revise
    of equipment SOPs and training programs/modules (One point lessons) to ensure
    operators have clear and consistent instructions and training on how to
    properly operate equipment.
  • Perform “on the
    job“ training to improve less experienced techs skills
  • Operate labelers,
    pick and place equipment, vision systems, and printers to ensure the
    achievement of required daily output.
  • Accurately perform
    and complete all documentation require to request all packaging products,
    materials and components require for the day to day operations of the packaging
    department.
  • Maintain equipment
    in good condition according to job plans and SOP's and report unusual sounds,
    smells, part replacement, etc.
  • Ensure that
    electronic equipment data analysis systems are functioning accurately and that
    contextualizing data is inputted correctly.
  • Demonstrates a
    visible and tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and other corporate
    initiatives in all work related activities.
  • In addition to the
    above, other assigned duties & project deemed appropriate within the
    position scope.

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma
    or equivalent and five (5) years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate Degree in
    Maintenance or related field from an accredited institution and three (3) years
    of relevant experience.
  • Five-plus (5 ) years
    of combination of education and experience related to automated manufacturing.
  • Basic Computer
    Skills (example: MS Outlook and web-based applications).
  • Basic mechanical
    skills (example: use of basic tools).
  • Equipment
    troubleshooting knowledge and skills
  • Ability to follow
    and create detailed instructions and procedures
  • Ability to lift up
    to 35 lbs
  • Ability to operate a
    reach truck forklift
  • Basic aptitude for
    math and computer skills

Requirements:

  • Must be legally
    authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to
    take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of
    age or older.
