Wastewater Field Supervisor

This position is responsible for the management of the Wastewater programs including: facility planning, wastewater discharge permits (WPDES), Total Maximum Daily Load implementation planning and execution, land spreading of industrial waste, calculation of effluent limits and inspections for wastewater compliance. The position ensures integration of the Wastewater activities and policies with other programs. The position plays a key role in developing and implementing statewide policy by serving on Wastewater Policy Management Team (PMT) and the Division Management Water Quality Board.

Qualifications: Minimally qualified candidates will have:

Natural Resources regulatory program implementation experience (e.g., working with stakeholders, interpreting and applying applicable rules/policies/statutes, etc.)

Well-qualified candidates will have:

Water Resources program implementation experience

Supervisory experience (e.g. managing performance, mentoring, training, assigning work, etc.)
