Senior Construction Foreman (COG-2018-660)

Concho Resources Artesia, CA

* Monitor well staking for all NM asset areas to accommodate fast paced drilling schedule.

* Manage multiple construction crews for building of roads, well locations, drilling and frac pits.

* Evaluate new and maintain existing water supplies by drilling water supply wells or laying lines from existing sources to meet increasing demand.

* Coordinate water supply usage between drilling and completion operations to insure maximum efficiency without hauling water.

* Work in a highly visible job and department – it is critical that work be done accurately and on time.

* Must be able to work effectively with a variety of groups including surface owners and tenants, dirt contractors, drilling foremen, completion foreman, land personnel, engineers and regulatory agencies to achieve asset team goals.

* Assists with timely procurement of materials and equipment. Reviews and approves invoices for accuracy.

* Provide relief for Asst. Construction Foreman, as required, during their absence.

Education/Experience Required

* Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited state-certified program

* Must possess a current, valid driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle

* Five years minimum of oilfield experience required; ten years preferred

* Demonstrated of ranch/land experience

Education/Experience Preferred

* Five years minimum of oilfield dirt work and/or drilling experience

* High integrity and reliability. Willingness to handle any assigned task, whether simple or complex

* Able to get along well with all different types of people and be effective negotiator. Great communication skills needed
