Job summary

As a Market Ethnographer and Solution Designer you will be working with IBM client stakeholders, their solution development ecosystem, and consumers in general to deeply understand people, their organization and socio-cultural context, their "wants and needs", as well as the relationship of those with Emerging Technology and market trends. The candidate for this role will be creating and conducting field ethnographic studies to identify and map technology requirements; will transform those requirements in user experience storylines; work with multidisciplinary teams to transform user and consumer requirements into use-cases and solutions; and finally perform field experiments, test and measurements of the solutions, working with delivery and client teams to understand user journeys and experiences and propose adjustments to those.

Successful candidates will have extensive background in social and cultural understanding with field experience working with enterprise clients and users in general. Experience in leading, creating and executing technology centric (organization, economic, and socio-cultural) field studies with users and consumers. Experience in structured innovation experiences for client stakeholders and their development ecosystems; and have experience in creating, executing and modeling innovative solutions in the market.
