Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is hiring software engineers to help us revolutionize the pharmaceutical industry and we're looking for passionate individuals who can help us on that journey. This team specifically supports onboarding new drug manufacturers to provide the lowest prices for brand name medications that are often not covered by insurance. We're working to build services where manufacturers can self-manage their products & programs throughout their lifecycle by building an interface layer between Amazon Pharmacy and our partners. The industry is ready for disruption and we're working to deliver the best possible pharmacy experience for our customers.

As a member of our engineering team, you will be solving interesting and complex problems at every layer of the stack, making a real difference for our end consumers. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, clinical, and customer care teams. Basic Qualifications

  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development

Preffered Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems, as well as the ability to think abstractly.
