As a Sr. Software Development Manager in S3, you get to deliver these capabilities and delight our customers through teams of talented engineers and leaders.

You will be responsible for leading, growing, and coordinating several teams in the design, delivery and operations S3’s distributed systems, driving S3's request processing and analytics. In this role, you will drive the design and implementation of new systems and customer features to be deployed and to be operated at massive scale aiming at hardening our resilience posture and simplifying the customer experience while still fulfilling the S3 promise of unparalleled durability and security. You will define, plan, and execute on critical deliverables that drive game changing performance and throughput improvements to S3. You must be capable of scaling yourself and your teams to meet the ever-increasing demands of a fast-growing business. S3 operates at large scale and stores critical data for customers world-wide, so a passion and discipline around operational excellence is key.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (related field) or equivalent work experience.

· 7+ years of experience architecting highly available systems.

· 5+ years’ experience managing people with 2+ years of managing multiple managers/teams.

· 5+ years of experience owning 24x7x365 service operations

Preffered Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience owning 24x7x365 service operations

· Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant software development and engineering management experience.
