Sr. Manager

Essential Job Functions:

On financial audit assignments, Senior Managers, assisted by Managers and Audit Seniors, are responsible for daily management of the engagement including, but not limited to: discussing audit findings with client/auditee personnel, drafting and reviewing audit reports, supervision of senior and junior auditors, periodic formal and informal status briefings to clients and Kearney partners, developing audit programs, preparing status reports, and providing technical assistance on complex accounting and/or auditing issues. On non-financial audit assignments, the Senior Manager is similarly responsible for staff supervision, overall planning, and client contacts, assisted as necessary by subject matter experts, and may provide general business consulting services including research, studies, analysis, evaluations, reports, regulatory development assistance, and strategy formulation.

Skills:

All personnel quoted for this task order shall be able to demonstrate competence in understanding, reading, speaking, and writing the English language.

The contractor personnel assigned to the project shall be knowledgeable of GAAP, GAGAS, internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR), DOD financial management policies and procedures and DOD and Army organizational structures familiar with pertinent Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems requirements familiar with DOD policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management familiar with current trends in information technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with subject matter expertise (e.g., IT, healthcare, credit reform, program specific)

Minimum six (6) years of experience with CPA, advanced degree, or subject matter expertise; otherwise eight (8) years.

Active Interim Secret at a minimum
