IT Auditor, Mid

Key Role:

Support a team that provides the Department of Navy (DoN) a single source of technical expertise and guidance over the enterprise-wide effort in responding effectively and efficiently to Independent Public Accountant (IPA) auditor requests related to Information Technology (IT). Direct, oversee, and provide quality control over all IT audit artifacts prior to delivery to the IPA performing the DoN financial statement audit engagement. Develop and issue IT metrics to leadership on the health of the audit for all IT-related audit requests. Leverage a full working knowledge of the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) program, the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA), the Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Provide oversight and leadership for tasks and deliverables, ensure the timely and successful completion thereof in accordance with project management plan, and present findings and solutions to the client in a clear and concise manner.

Basic Qualifications:

* 4+ years of experience with IT auditing

* Experience with managing large teams throughout all IT audit phases

* Experience with DoD audits

* Experience with Microsoft Office tools

* Ability to be self-motivated and results driven

* Ability to obtain a security clearance

* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with Navy audits preferred

* Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements

* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

* BA or BS degree in Information Technology, CS, Accounting, Economics, preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

* CISA, CISM, ISACE, CIA, CDFM, or CGFM Certification a plus
