Acquisition Program Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a program analyst for an Army agency managing acquisition reform. Act as a subject matter expert (SME), including attending working groups, integrated product teams (IPTs), and other planning meetings to support the mission and developing executive-level summaries of meetings. Provide technical support and planning analysis to support the Army modernization plan for tactical communication systems, including radios, command post equipment, in-the-field networks, and waveforms and make recommendations regarding schedule impacts, delivery timelines, and event execution. Identify, analyze, and evaluate information to support Capability Set (CS) design reviews for network integration efforts in laboratory and field environments leading to the fielding of capabilities. Monitor, review, and make recommendations on the ability of a program to participate in modernization test and evaluation events. Make recommendations on policies, procedures, techniques, proposed changes, and integration requirements using established criteria from an SoS level to ensure that cost, schedule, and performance requirements are satisfied.

Basic Qualifications:

* 4 years of experience with the planning and execution of complex, multi-faceted projects

* Experience with using DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices for one or more of the following: tactical communications, DoD tactical network modernization, or C4ISR systems

* Knowledge of Army Staff procedures and DoD acquisition regulations and instructions

* Ability to analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, make recommendations, prepare reports or documents, and present results both orally and in writing

* Secret clearance

* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with Army Program Executive Office (PEO) or program, project, or product manager (PM) support

* Experience with the DoD budgeting process

* Knowledge of military program testing and evaluation procedures

* MA or MS degree

* PMP Certification a plus

Clearance:
